U. S. Government Direct Deposit Checking

You must deposit $25.00 to open this account.
You will receive a statement on this account monthly.
You must have a direct deposit to open this account. This account has a minimum balance requirement of $5.00 and a $4.00 flat service charge fee is assessed on the statement cut off date. You are allowed one (1) withdrawal per direct deposit per statement cycle.

Free Checking – Senior Citizen

NOW Account Checking (Personal)

The interest rate and annual percentage yield for your account may change. At our discretion, we may change the interest rate on your account at any time.
Interest on your account will be compounded monthly. Interest will be credited to your account monthly. Interest can be withdrawn when credited. If you close your account before interest is credited, you will not receive the accrued interest.
You must deposit $1,500.00 to open this account. A maintenance fee will be imposed every statement cycle if the daily balance of the account falls below the $1,500 any day of the statement cycle. You must maintain a minimum daily balance of $1,500 in the account each day to obtain the annual percentage yield disclosed.
We use the daily balance method to calculate the interest on your account. This method applies a daily periodic rate to the principal in the account each day.
Interest begins to accrue on the business day you deposit non cash items (for example, checks)
You will receive a statement on this account monthly.

Interest on your account will be compounded quarterly. Interest will be credited to your account quarterly. Interest can be withdrawn when credited. If you close your account before interest is credited, you will not receive the accrued interest.
You must deposit $50.00 to open this account. A maintenance fee will be imposed every month if the daily balance of the account falls below the $50 any day of the month.
We use the daily balance method to calculate the interest on your account. This method applies a daily periodic rate to the principal in the account each day.
Interest begins to accrue on the business day you deposit non cash items (for example, checks)
You will receive a statement on this account annually.
With the exception of loan payments to us, you may not make more than six (6) preauthorized, automatic, or telephone transfers (including telephone banking and bill pay, internet banking and bill pay, and PC banking payments and transfers) each month. Of these six (6) allowable transfers, no more than three (3) may be made by check, draft, debit card, check card or similar order made by the depositor and payable to a third party (provided such transactions are allowed by us for your particular type of account).

Certificates of Deposit

You will be paid the interest rate and the annual percentage yield disclosed until maturity.
Interest on your account will not compound. Interest will be credited to this certificate of deposit / IRA at maturity. Interest can be withdrawn at maturity.
You must deposit $2,500.00 to open this account. You must maintain a minimum daily balance of $2,500 in the account each day to obtain the annual percentage yield disclosed.
We use the daily balance method to calculate the interest on your account. This method applies a daily periodic rate to the principal in the account each day.
Interest begins to accrue on the business day you deposit non cash items (for example, checks)
After the account is opened, you may not make additional deposits into your account until maturity. After the account is opened, you may not make withdrawals from your account until maturity.
We may impose a penalty if you withdraw any of the principal before maturity. The amount of the fee imposed, will depend on the length of the term of the original certificate of deposit / IRA instrument.
The account will not renew automatically at maturity. If you do not renew the account, interest will not be paid after maturity.

Bank of the Mountains is participating in the FDIC's Transaction Account Guarantee Program. Under that program, through December 31, 2010, all noninterest-bearing transaction accounts are fully guaranteed by the FDIC for the entire amount in the account. Coverage under the Transaction Account Guarantee Program is in addition to and seperate from the coverage available under the FDIC's general deposit insurance rules which are stated below.

The standard insurance amount of $250,000 is in effect through December 31, 2013. On January 1, 2014, the standard insurance amount will return to $100,000 per depositor for all acoount categories except IRAs and other certain retirement accounts, which will remain at $250,000 per depositor.
